Sara Mariers (Wroclaw, 2000) is a London based artist who forms a practice of writing, glass, photography and installation. Mariers draws from silences, pauses (those are often cut to boredom or stretched to tiredness), blankness, gazing at what leans in incandescent and mourning.

Through documentability and forgetting she inspects scenes’ and sculptural fragments’ capacity for syncope, trembling, pulsation or otherwise, midnight.

Mariers navigates literary landscape while looking at that what raptures the ability to name things and time. In her projects she often contemplates matters of flights, departures, desire, abjection, deep illness and threadbare love.
